Mongol Art Gallery
In 2019, Mongol Art Gallery was established. The gallery’s aims include exhibiting works of art to the public, working with artists and art collectors, planning exhibitions, meetings, and seminars, and introducing young people to great art.
976 Art gallery
The most well-known gallery for modern art in Ulaanbaatar is 976 Art Gallery. The gallery has been drawing people since it opened in 2012 with its high caliber exhibitions, activities, and open conversations scheduled on a regular basis. After moving twice to better locations and conditions, the gallery has since changed its name to Art Space 976+ in order to reflect the beginning of a new partnership with the Alaqai and Mathias Kuper Galleries. It is now situated in a prestigious business district of Ulaanbaatar City on the first floor of the Choijin Suite Building at Jamyan Gun Street.
Mongolian National Modern art gallery
A public service organization called the Mongolian Art Gallery was founded in 1991 with the objectives of educating the public about contemporary visual art and introducing them to it.
The gallery currently has more than 4,000 pieces of great art of all kinds, dating back to the victory of the People’s Revolution in 1921, including paintings, sculptures, carvings, carvings, embroidery, needlework, and embroidery. The best pieces of visual art are added to the library each year and are then studied, promoted, maintained, and made available to the public.
By visiting the gallery, you can take in the artwork that depicts the nomadic Mongolians’ ancient history and culture, as well as the country’s traditions, way of life, and work. You can also take in the strange images of the vast steppes and the stunning scenery of Gobi Khang, as well as contemporary free-thinking pieces. These works have properly captured the interest of visual art researchers not only in our nation but also around the world because of their significance in terms of content, design, history, and culture. A total of 10,000 guests attend about 50 large-scale exhibitions each year.
Altan Khaan Gallery
Since 2015, the Altan Khaan gallery in Ulaanbaatar’s central business district has promoted modern art from Greater Mongolia. We concentrate on developing the recognition that young, bright artists deserve in the global art market. Artwork can be shipped anywhere in the world. every day from 10 am until 9 pm (11am-8pm on weekends). Welcome!
In order for the world to completely understand and appreciate Mongolian modern art, Ulaanbaatar’s Altan Khaan Gallery was established in 2016. It has chosen a group of gifted young artists who are all from Greater Mongolia and whose works are all inspired by that region’s way of life and culture.
Thus, this Asian art comes from the northern Asian steppes. In essence, Mongolian artists are finally free to freely express their emotions, their unique perception of the world, and its changes on their canvases after too many years of frustration during which art had reduced to a basic kind of propaganda.
The gallery proudly and vehemently waves the flag of their valued values—a sincere love of family, the utmost respect for Mother Nature, and an authentic worship of Heaven and the Universe—from Mongolia to the East, West, and beyond.
