This museum is an ideal place for those who are eager to discover the base of Mongolian history, culture, and tradition. National Museum of Mongolia showcases over 6000 pieces artefacts dated from pre-historic time to present-day Mongolia. In the first hall, you can see the human evolution process and how humankind first spread throughout the Eurasian steppe and what traces were left behind them. The exhibit continues with Ancient States Hall which offers an insightful look into the earliest states that settled on present-day Mongolian territory under different names such as Hunnu (Xiongnu), Tureg (Turkic) state. Visit the Traditional Clothing and Jewellery hall on the second floor and discover jaw-dropping masterpieces of art that have been used by Nomads as daily stuff throughout centuries. The Great Mongolian Empire hall situates on the third floor along with the late historical period exhibits. In the last hall, enjoy the exhibits of Mongolian culture and find out its spirit.
